Cumulus Gets Subpoena From Spitzer's Office

When CUMULUS filed SEC Form 10Q on WEDNESDAY (11/9), it disclosed, "In AUGUST 2005, we received a subpoena from the OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, as have some of the other radio broadcasting companies operating in the State of NEW YORK. The subpoenas were issued in connection with the NEW YORK Attorney General’s investigation of record company promotional practices. We are fully cooperating with this subpoena."

In NY State, CUMULUS owns: AC WFAS-A&F/WESTCHESTER. In POUGKEEPSIE, Classic Rocker WCZX. Rockers WPDA & WPDH, Country WKXP, Alternative WRRB & WRRV. It also owns Rocker WFAF/MT. KISCO, Classic Hits WZAD/WURTSBORO, NY, AC WKNY-A/KINGSTON, Disney WALL-A/MIDDLETON, and Sports WPUT-A/BREWSTER.
