Rick Sackheim Named SVP/Promotion at IDJMG

ISLAND DEF JAM MUSIC GROUP (IDJMG) EVP GREG THOMPSON today announced the appointment of RICK SACKHEIM to SVP/Promotion. In this new position, SACKHEIM will oversee all radio formats, in addition to overseeing the field staff. He will be based in LOS ANGELES, and report directly to THOMPSON in NEW YORK.

SACKHEIM joins IDJMG from JIVE RECORDS, where he served as VP Rhythm/Crossover Promotion, since APRIL 2004, following his five year tenure as VP Rhythm/Crossover Promotion at ARISTA.
