KELLY CLARKSON has announced a free concert on DECEMBER 21 at SAN JOSE's HP PAVILION for those who saw her perform at UC BERKELEY's GREEK THEATRE on SEPTEMBER 4. Fans that attended her show the UC BERKELEY show will be given complimentary tickets to the new concert date in SAN JOSE because KELLY thought her SEPTEMBER show could have been better. The SEPTEMBER 4 show was the last she played before being diagnosed with bronchitis.
"I love my fans and they deserve the best that I can give. I promised them I'd come back when I was healthy and I am really looking forward to making this up to them," the singer said.
Those who were at the SEPTEMBER 4 concert will be contacted through Ticketmaster and offered the opportunity to attend the new concert date compliments of KELLY CLARKSON. Tickets to purchase for the new show will also be made available to additional fans this SUNDAY (11/13) through Ticketmaster.com.
After her show at the BERKELEY GREEK THEATRE, KELLY was forced to postpone five "Hazel Eyes Tour" stops in SANTA BARBARA, IRVINE, RENO, LAS VEGAS, and SPOKANE. As promised, she will return to each of those cities (with the exception of SANTA BARBARA) beginning DECEMBER 10 in LAS VEGAS. Tickets purchased for the postponed concert dates will be honored for the rescheduled dates. The SANTA BARBARA date will be moved to next summer since it is outdoors.
