Sam O'Neil's Voice Silenced

Voiceover ace SAM O’NEIL passed away FRIDAY (8/3) following a battle with non-Hodgkins T-Cell Lymphona. He was first diagnosed with the disease last APRIL; he had been undergoing intense chemotherapy treatments for 10 days before passing.

There will be a Celebration Of Life held on MONDAY, AUGUST 13 at the Central Christian Church in HENDERSON, NV.

"We at Studio 197 are deeply saddened to learn of the death of SAM O’NEIL," AL MASON of AUBURN NETWORK said in a statement. "SAM has been a treasured member of our voice talent pool since our company's inception in 2000. His boundless energy, unbridled enthusiasm and irrepressible wit -- not to mention his wonderful voice -- will be greatly missed. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to his family."

O'NEIL is survived by his wife DANA and five daughters SARAH, BIANCA, MEGAN, SAMANTHA and ALEXIS.
