ABC's McConnell Injured In Bike Mishap

Get well wishes go out to ABC RADIO NETWORKS SVP, Programming JOHN McCONNELL, who is recovering from a bicycling accident on SATURDAY in which he broke two vertebrae in his neck. McCONNELL, a competitive rider, is expected to fully recover; he was wearing a helmet at the time, and in a network statement is quoted as saying "the helmet saved my life and kept me from permanent injury."
