PERRY PUBLISHING & BROADCASTING CO. has partnered with communications executive SHEILA ELDRIDGE to purchase five AUGUSTA stations for $3.1-million from RADIO ONE. They are Urban AC WAKB, Urban WFXA, Black Gospel WTHB and WTHB-A and Rock WAEG.

RUSSELL M . PERRY is President of PERRY BROADCASTING, OKLAHOMA’s largest African-American owned media company. This purchases represents PERRY’s first expansion outside of OKLAHOMA "We're extremely pleased with this acquisition and hopefully it puts us in a position to acquire additional properties in the future," said RUSSELL PERRY.
