Former WBSM Host Hal Peterson Dies

Condolences to family and friends of former WBSM-A/NEW BEDFORD and KSL-A/SALT LAKE CITY host and sportscaster HAL PETERSON, who died FRIDAY at 81 in NORTH CAROLINA, according to the NEW BEDFORD STANDARD-TIMES. PETERSON was a host and PD at WBSM in the '50s, and later returned for a second stint at the station until exiting in 1990; he also worked at KSL and stations in SAN FRANCISCO and YUMA, AZ, and owned camera shops.
