B.C. AM Gets CRTC OK For FM Move, But Proposed Facility Rejected

The CRTC approves the move of VISTA RADIO Country CFWB-A (COAST RADIO)/CAMPBELL RIVER, BC (on VANCOUVER ISLAND) from AM to FM, but rejects the proposed 106.1 FM facility. 

VISTA has three months to propose a different facility with smaller coverage area. Present FM simulcast partner CJGR/GOLD RIVER, BC will continue to operate as a transmitter of CFWB programming.
