Kevin Whorton Honored

URBAN RADIO Country WLAY/FLORENCE/MUSCLE SHOALS, AL has announced that on-air personality KEVIN WHORTON has been recognized as the ALABAMA COUNTRY AND GOSPEL MUSIC Association's RADIO PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR. WHORTON has been with the station for over 17 years and in 2006 became involved in developing the station's local music-only format. The award ceremony will be held SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 6th at 6p (CT) at the OXFORD CIVIC CENTER in OXFORD, AL.
