Official: Tony Snow Leaves White House Sept. 14

As previously tipped on ALL ACCESS, WHITE HOUSE Press Secretary TONY SNOW announced TODAY that he will be leaving his post on SEPTEMBER 14thand said that he intends to do "a little bit of radio" as part of his undisclosed future plans. SNOW hosted a show for FOX NEWS RADIO before taking the WHITE HOUSE job; he said two weeks ago that he planned to exit the Press Secretary job before the end of the current administration. Furthermore, he noted that his health is "fine" in the wake of his battle with cancer and that his exit is due to money concerns, noting that he "took out a loan when I came to the WHITE HOUSE. That loan's now gone. So I'm going to have to pay the bills." 

Deputy Press Secretary DANA PERINO is taking over SNOW's job.
