WAMU/D.C. Bluegrass Programming Moves To HD-2 Channel

Noncommercial WAMU/WASHINGTON is moving its SUNDAY 1-4p bluegrass programming to its HD-2 channel effective SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 23rd, as a full "BLUEGRASS COUNTRY" channel with live shows featuring KATY DALEY in mornings and RAY DAVIS in afternoons. The channel will also continue to stream online at bluegrasscountry.org.
Starting SEPTEMBER 17th, WAMU's main channel will be all-News-Talk, and will also launch another partially-talk talk channel on the station's HD-3 channel featuring NPR programming unavailable on the main analog channel shared with the exisiting music programming from WTMD/BALTIMORE airing on the same channel.
