Identifying Midwest expansion as a top priority, EASTLAN RATINGS today announced a consulting agreement with veteran radio broadcaster BUD JANES. JANES, currently with KRMS/OSAGE BEACH MO, founded BICK BROADCASTING in 1981 and served as the company's Pres. until it was sold to DOUBLE O RADIO in 2006. 

"This is one of those situations where the perfect guy fell into our lap", said EASTLAN Pres./CEO MIKE GOULD. "In our effort to accelerate EASTLAN's already rapid growth, it became clear we needed a more orchestrated approach in the Midwest. Since the sale of his company has now closed, BUD has the time and expertise to guide our process. As an owner/operator and NAB Board member, he's been in the same trenches as our clients and has earned a well-deserved reputation as an industry leader and innovator. I can't imagine anyone more uniquely qualified to help EASTLAN excel."

I think we were Eastlan's first client in the Midwest back when they were just getting started. They helped me make a little money so I guess it's time to return the favor to MIKE.
