WBAL Picks Elliker For Midday Slot

HEARST Talk WBAL-A/BALTIMORE taps veteran talker and producer SHARI ELLIKER to replace CHIP FRANKLIN in the station's 9a-Noon (ET) weekday slot. 

ELLIKER, a regular on FRNKLIN's show, had been hosting a SUNDAY afternoon show for WBAL and has been co-host of "BROADMINDED" weekdays on XM SATELLITE RADIO, which she is likely to be departing with the new show's debut. ELLIKER was best known in the WASHINGTON market as an on-air personality on WHFS and as a traffic reporter/sidekick, most notably (dubbed "SHARI LIQUOR") on DON AND MIKE's show.
