Condolences to family and friends of former CBS Talk WBZ-A/BOSTON evening host and LOWELL SUN columnist PAUL SULLIVAN, who died SUNDAY night after a long battle with melanoma at 50. SULLIVAN joined WBZ in 1999 after working at WLLH-A/LOWELL and became the successor in evenings to legendary host DAVID BRUDNOY after the latter's death. SULLIVAN came off the air on JUNE 28.
WBZ Dir. of News and Programming PETER CASEY said, "The SULLIVAN family and the WBZ family lost a real treasure. PAUL SULLIVAN brightened up every room he ever entered and every life he ever touched. Right now, our thoughts are with PAUL's wife and their five children and PAUL's extended family."
