Magnum To Run For Congress Again

Radio group owner DAVE MAGNUM has announced that he will once again run for Congress in WISCONSIN's 2nd Congressional District in 2006. MAGNUM will again run as a Republican in an attempt to unseat incumbent Rep. TAMMY BALDWIN (D-WI), who beat MAGNUM with 63% of the vote in 2004.

Meanwhile, the SALT LAKE TRIBUNE reports that BONNEVILLE Talk KSL-A/SALT LAKE CITY host DOUG WRIGHT has been in WASHINGTON meeting with WHITE HOUSE advisers and the NATIONAL REPUBLICAN CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEE in talks about the possibility that WRIGHT might run for Congress against Rep. JIM MATHESON (D-UT). WRIGHT has not yet decided whether to run for the seat; he would come off the air if he declares his candidacy.
