It's official: CITADEL Country KDRK/SPOKANE OM/PD CARY ROLFE is leaving to assume the PD post at CLEAR CHANNEL Country KWNR/LAS VEGAS. ROLFE replaces former PD BROOKS O'BRIAN, who exited the station after 12 years in AUGUST.
ROLFE, at KDRK for the past two years, previously programmed CBS RADIO KUPL/PORTLAND, where he was PD for seven years.
"These decisions are always tough, ROLFE said. "The SPOKANE cluster is full of great people who generate great local content every day, and I have the utmost respect for them. They have great things in store with GM DON MORIN in charge, and I wish them nothing but the best. Taking the reins of KWNR and following in the footsteps of GARY MOSS, JAYE ALBRIGHT and JOHN MARKS is a great honor. I look forward to getting in there with BRANDY NEWMAN and TOM CHASE, and creating great radio."
