Lots of tongues wagging regarding a possible format flip at COX Top 40 WHZT (HOT 98.1)/GREEENVILLE in the wake of on-air promos claiming "HOT 98.1 is dead." But don't send a sympathy card just yet, as PD JET BLACK tells ALL ACCESS, "We were running 'HOT 98-1 is dead' in every piece of imaging on the station. That ran through YESTERDAY at 5p when we unveiled 'the new sound' of THE NEW HOT 98-1, as well as the kicker being 'HOT 98-1 is dead ... serious about giving away over $20,000 in cash!"
