TRIBUNE CO. reported that its AUGUST consolidated revenues declined 5.2% to $391 million, with publishing revenues off 6.1% to $271 million and broadcasting and entertainment group revenues down 3% to $121 million, with higher revenue at TRIBUNE ENTERTAINMENT partially offsetting declines at TV and the CHICAGO CUBS. The company does not report specific figures for its only radio property, WGN-A/CHICAGO, which is included in the broadcasting revenues with the CUBS, who are scheduled to be sold after the current season.
