WEZN Announces 'Project S.T.A.R. 3'

This morning (9/24), COX RADIO AC WEZN (STAR 99.9)/BRIDGEPORT, CT announced "PROJECT S.T.A.R.3" (STICK TOGETHER AND REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE), an initiative to educate CONNECTICUT on the benefits of living an environmentally-friendly lifestyle.
STAR 99.9 and MOST MUSIC MORNING SHOW hosts MIKE MCGOWAN and MARIT PRICE kicked off the event by joining GOVERNOR JODI RELL and BRIDGEPORT MAYOR JOHN FABRIZI to planting a tree at the OLD CITY HALL on LYON TERRACE.
GOVERNOR JODI RELL commented, "The members of the STAR 99.9 family are dedicated to living environmentally healthy lifestyles and promoting energy conservation and environmental responsibility."
According to WEZN PD SAMANTHA STEVENS, "STAR 99.9 is proud to be the first radio station in CONNECTICUT to develop a major initiative to help our environment. We are starting to take steps to reduce, reuse and recycle in our own office, and we are inviting our listeners to join the effort."
