Congrats to MCA/NASHVILLE artist REBA McENTIRE with a debut sales of her 31st studio album "REBA Duets" of more than 300,000 units, and grabbing the top spot on the NIELSEN SOUNDSCAN Top-200. This marks REBA's biggest first-week album sales to date, with her prior record from her 1992 release "It's Your Call" at 124,000 units.
MCA VP/Promotion ROYCE RISSER gives props to his team on the success at Country radio: "Our entire promotion team really went after radio to tout this release as a huge event rather than just a studio album, but KATIE DEAN, our in house Tazmanian Devil really deserves a ton of credit. She worked with TRISHA McCLANAHAN at STARSTRUCK to open and expose every possible avenue with some great, inventive promotions that put Reba front and center with radio. We obviously asked a lot of REBA and she willingly stepped up to the plate to give radio every tool possible to make this release special. REBA is unreal. I'm beginning to doubt she's human. That or she's found an identical twin to work with her. I dont know how she keeps up this pace. We are very proud to be associated and work with her."
