Garth Brooks And NHL Partner To Help Kids

The NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE (NHL) and the NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE PLAYER'S ASSOC (NHLPA) have selected GARTH BROOKS' TEAMMATES FOR KIDS FOUNDATION as their official children's charity.  The partnership will focus on raising money for non-profit organizations that contribute to children's health, education and inner city services.

To kick start the partnership, the NHL and the NHLPA is hosting an on-line auction featuring game worn jerseys from the home openers for all 30 NHL clubs.  BROOKS' has also announced that his organization will match up to $1 million of all monies raised in the auction to benefit the victims of HURRICANE KATRINA.  For more information visit www.nhlpa.com.
