  The FCC has granted an extension until OCTOBER 31 for PROVIDENCE EQUITY PARTNERS to divest either its holdings in UNIVISION or its holdings in FREEDOM COMMUNICATIONS. The extension was requested to allow PROVIDENCE to complete paperwork divesting its FREEDOM shares through FREEDOM redeeming PROVIDENCE's minority interest.
