Garth Brooks Sells Out Nine Shows In Less Than Two Hours

Country superstar GARTH BROOKS shows he is still the king of the box-office, even after nine years in retirement. GARTH tied his own personal record for selling the highest number of tickets in any city in NORTH AMERICA, nine shows at the KANSAS CITY SPRINT CENTER. Tickets went on sale at 10a (CT), SATURDAY morning (10/6) for a single show. 

Originally it was going to be a thank you concert for WAL MART, but was then opened up to the public. After the demand was so high, GARTH added another show, another, another, extending to nine shows. The tickets for all the shows were grabbed in one hour and 58 minutes -- total.

GARTH's response: " For the first time in my life, I'm speechless." BROOKS' "Ultimate Hits," CD package hits the streets on NOVEMBER 6th.
