PHILLY radio veteran GLENN KALINA and NEW JERSEY radio vet DEBBIE MAZELLA have joined GREATER MEDIA. KALINA will handle middays at Oldies WJRZ/MANAHAWKIN, while MAZELLA takes middays at AC WMGQ (MAGIC 98.3)/NEW BRUNSWICK.
After 31 years on the air in the market, WJRZ OM JEFF RAFTER, who is now also serving as PD OF WMGQ following the departure of TIM TEFFT last week, comes off the air at 'JRZ, clearing the way for KALINA. At WMGQ, and MAZELLA replaces JAN OCHS, who moves to nights, replacing JOHN LISK, who slides into the afternoon shift previously held by TEFFT.
JEFF RAFTER tells ALL ACCESS, "I'm very excited to be back at MAGIC where I started many years ago as a part-timer. I am also looking forward to working with legendary talents GLENN KALINA and DEBBIE MAZELLA."
MAZELLA was most recently APD/MD/middays at MILLENNIUM Hot AC WJLK (94.3 THE POINT)/ASBURY PARK, NJ. KALINA's storied PHILADELPHIA radio career dates back to the 1970s, and includes WIOQ, WLCE, and the legendary "Hot Hits" WCAU-F.
