Cruz Gets Blazinâ?? Promotion

MEC NETWORK has appointed CHRISTINA CRUZ Promotions Manager for XMOR (BLAZIN’ 98.9 FM)/SAN DIEGO. Previously, CRUZ was Business Development Manager at THE KEATING HOTEL GROUP, but she does have 10 years of radio promotions experience with FINEST CITY Rhythmic AC XHRM (MAGIC 92.5)/SAN DIEGO and CLEAR CHANNEL Hot AC KMYI/SAN DIEGO during its MY94.1 phase.

"We identified CHRISTINA for our promotions area a while back, and the time was right to bring her in," said MEC Network OM/Brand & Marketing LEE CORNELL. "She really knows and understands the market, and is a perfect fit to work with our key talent THE BAKA BOYZ and VANYA, and develop the company’s sales promotions initiatives."

Cruz, who starts OCT. 22nd, says, "I am excited by the scope of the BLAZIN’ 98.9 opportunity and what it has to offer, and I'm looking forward to getting back into radio."
