Former NBA SEATTLE SUPERSONICS RADIO NETWORK Exec. Producer and WNBA SEATTLE STORM announcer ALAN HORTON takes over as play-by-play voice of the NBA's MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES, replacing BRIAN SIEMAN, who left earlier this off-season to join the LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS radio crew.
HORTON's experience also includes a decade in SAN DIEGO sports radio; he joins color commentator BILLY MCKINNEY on the WOLVES broadcasts. The WOLVES air on TWIN CITIES rimshot STARCOM Classic Country KLCI (BOB 106)/ELK RIVER, MN.
HORTON's arrival completes a circle, as SIEMAN, who he replaced, filled a gap left by the move of MATT PINTO from the CLIPPERS to the SONICS.
