CAPITOL BROADCASTING Country WCMC-F (99.9 GENUINE COUNTRY)/RALEIGH-DURHAM has made the previously-announced transition to Sports as 99.9 THE FAN. 

The lineup includes a local morning show, "THE FANATICS," with former WRNL-A (SPORTS RADIO 910)/RICHMOND afternoon host MIKE MANISCALCO and DAN MASON. THE CONTENT FACTORY's DAN PATRICK and SPORTING NEWS RADIO's TONY BRUNO will air in middays, while former NORTH CAROLINA STATE, JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS, and NEW YORK GIANTS tight end MARK THOMAS and SCOTT JACKSON handle afternoons. The station is the new flagship for CAROLINA HURRICANES hockey as well. Former ESPN Sports KESN (ESPN RADIO 103.3)/DALLAS APD/Sports Dir. DAVE SHORE is the station's PD.
