MOUNT WILSON Classical KMZT-A (K-MOZART)/LOS ANGELES is set for yet another format flip, this time to Talk with the station's original KGIL-A call letters, starting OCTOBER 29th. Longtime local talker MICHAEL JACKSON, formerly at KABC-A and the old KRLA-A, will host a midday show 9-11a that will be repeated 5-7p. "THE WALL STREET JOURNAL THIS MORNING" and the radio version of CNN's "LARRY KING LIVE" will fill the morning slot, with JONES' NEAL BOORTZ 11a-2p and WOR RADIO NETWORK's DR. JOY BROWNE 2-5p. The Classical format will continue on sister Country KKGO (GO COUNTRY 105.1)'s HD-2 channel. KGIL will air Adult Standards overnights.
1260 AM has been the home to numerous formats under owner SAUL LEVINE, including multiple attempts at an Adult Standards format, all-News, all-BEATLES, Jazz, Oldies, Country, and Classical.
