Kuby To Exit WABC; Imus Starts Dec. 3?

ALL ACCESS hears from a reliable source that CITADEL Talk WABC-A/NEW YORK "CURTIS AND KUBY" morning co-host RON KUBY was informed this morning that he is being let go from the station. KUBY was on the air this morning, co-hosting as usual, but said his goodbyes at the end of the show.

The move adds credence to the widely reported rumors that a deal to bring DON IMUS to WABC's morning slot is imminent.  KUBY's law practice schedule would conflict with any move of "CURTIS AND KUBY" to another daypart.

As KUBY was being told about his exit, the DRUDGE REPORT posted a report that IMUS will be starting on WABC on DECEMBER 3rd.  DRUDGE says that KUBY's co-host CURTIS SLIWA is likely to be moved to pair with JOHN GAMBLING in the latter's midday slot.
