The staff at CLEAR CHANNEL/GRAND RAPIDS learned today that TIM FEAGAN, the former GM at WBCT, who helped launch the station in the early 1990s, will return after being out of the business for 12 years, reports THE GRAND RAPIDS PRESS.
FEAGAN replaces SKIP ESSICK, who left the market in late JULY. As GM, FEAGAN will oversee seven GRAND RAPIDS stations, WBCT, WOOD-AM (1300), WSNX-FM (104.5), WOOD-FM (105.7), WMAX-FM (96.1), WTKG-AM (1230) and WBFX-FM (101.3).
Currently, FEAGAN is President of TEAM INDUSTRIES INC., a GRAND RAPIDS company that manufactures expanded polystyrene-based products. It is expected he will resign from that position.
According to sources at the station, FEAGAN starts in two weeks. Interim GM BART BRANDMILLER will remain as DiR./Sales.
