New York's Q104 Takes You To School

CLEAR CHANNEL Rocker WAXQ(Q104.3)/NEW YORK is giving listeners a chance to jam with some of its core artists. In conjunction with BILLY JOEL'S longtime drummer LIBERTY DEVITO the station is presenting Q104.3's SO YOU WANNA BE A ROCK STAR. Contestants will receive instruction from artists including MICK FLEETWOOD, LITTLE STEVEN VANZANDT, members of LYNYRD SKYNRD, .38 SPECIAL and more.

The event will end with a battle of the bands at THE HARD ROCK CAFE IN TIMES SQUARE.Entry will run you $4,500 and runs from January 26-29, 2006,updates on new rock star instructors will be announced on morning man Jim Kerr's show.
