  Condolences to the family and friends of former KYZZ/MONTEREY air personality MARIA DIAZ (air name: MARY JANE). DIAZ died THURSDAY (10/18) morning while battling cancer. DIAZ spent four years at KDON/MONTEREY, working her way from intern to Asst. Promotions Dir. to fulltime on-air. DIAZ' career included stints with KYLD/SAN FRANCISCO and at KSJO/SAN JOSE.
