John Strazza Rises To SVP/Promotion At Zomba

ZOMBA EVP/Pop Promotion JOE RICCITELLI has appointed JOHN STRAZZA as SVP/Promotion for the ZOMBA LABEL GROUP. JOHN will continue to report directly to RICCITELLI.

Previously, STRAZZA was VP/Promotion for ZOMBA. He began his music career at CBS RECORDS in 1989 and landed as the Mgr./Dance Promotion for COLUMBIA RECORDS. He moved up the ranks at COLUMBIA to Sr. Dir./Crossover Radio, and then joined RCA RECORDS in the same capacity. In 2001 he came on board to JIVE RECORDS as VP/Rhythm/Crossover Radio Promotion.

"JOHN has been an integral part of the Pop Promotion department for the past six years. In his new role, JOHN will continue to oversee the Rhythm/Crossover format. In addition, JOHN will work closely with me on Pop Promotion initiatives, said RICCITELLI.
