OFCOM has awarded a digital multiplex for NORTHAMPTONSHIRE to GCAP MEDIA's NOWDIGITAL LTD. The service is set for a SEPTEMBER 2008 launch, offering nine local channels plus BBC RADIO NORTHAMPTON.
The channels to be offered include digital versions of existing analog stations GCAP Top 40 NORTHANTS 96, GCAP Oldies GOLD, and FORWARD MEDIA AC/Classic Hits CONNECT FM, plus Adult Hits JACK GM, Alternative XFM, Religion UCB, Traffic and Travel TRAFFIC RADIO, Asian SABRAS RADIO, and an AC format to be determined.
