Opie: I'll Work For Free To Get Back On In Philly

OPIE AND ANTHONY may be down in PHILADELPHIA after being dumped by CBS Rock WYSP, but they're not ready to concede the market. OPIE told listeners on WEDNESDAY's show that he would offer the show to another station in the market for free in order to get back in. OPIE said that he wants to "take down 'YSP" and rival GREATER MEDIA Rock WMMR morning team PRESTON AND STEVE, and wants to work for free to prove it. 

O&A may have a problem finding a taker, considering that the obvious choice, CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative WRFF, is owned by a company unlikely to take a shot with the team. Eliminating the CBS, GREATER MEDIA, and CLEAR CHANNEL stations leaves only stations in incompatible formats.
