The Bull Rescues Soup Drive

Congrats to PD JOEL DEARING and the staff of CLEAR CHANNEL Classic Country WZBL (104.9 THE BULL)/LYNCHBURG-ROANOKE as they come to the rescue in the name of "community service.'"

The LOCAL OFFICE ON AGING (LOA) was holding a Soup Drive, trying to raise 3,000 cans of soup to feed local folks who could use a helping hand. When they stalled at 700 cans, THE BULL came in to give the drive a jolt by getting involved with the fundraiser. The end result was a grand total of 30,000 cans of soup that will go to feed the hungry.
