FCC Proposes Fine Against Honolulu AM For Late License Renewal App

KMC BROADCASTING, L.L.C. gets hit with a proposed $1,500 fine by the FCC for a late lisense renewal application for its silent KHRA-A/HONOLULU.

In another action at the Commission, the FCC granted in part a Petition to Deny filed by MARY V. HARRIS FOUNDATION against HOLY FAMILY COMMUNICATIONS for a new FM in LANCASTER, NY but after adjusting the points to reflect an overlap in contours with another HOLY FAMILY station, HOLY FAMILY still ended up with enough points in the comparative proceeding to win the construction permit.
