Thompson Tapped For Afternoons

CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WRVA-A/RICHMOND taps DOC THOMPSON as its new afternoon host starting TODAY (10/29), filling the slot left vacant when MAC WATSON left to join BONNEVILLE Talk KTAR-F/PHOENIX earlier this summer. 

THOMPSON, who worked at WRVA in 2003-05 as producer, imaging director, and fill-in host, has also worked in various capacities at WZOO/ASHTABULA, OH, WKDD/AKRON, WQAL/CLEVELAND, KKNB/LINCOLN, NE, KFBI/LAS VEGAS, WMJI/CLEVELAND (producing and appearing on the LANIGAN AND MALONE show), and KAGM/ALBUQUERQUE and has filled in as a talk host at WMAL-A/WASHINGTON, WTAM-A/CLEVELAND and WTVN-A/COLUMBUS.
