WPRO-A/Providence Sets Special Honoring Veterans

CITADEL Talk WPRO-A/PROVIDENCE will air a live local special for VETERANS DAY weekend on SUNDAY afternoon. "VOICES OF FREEDOM, A CELEBRATION OF HONOR, SERVICE AND DUTY," airing noon-2p ET, will be hosted by Army vet KENNY CARNES and will feature representatives of all military branches and vets from WORLD WAR II to IRAQ.

"This special program is intended as a heartfelt thank-you to all our veterans, active military and their families for their service and sacrifice for our country," said PD PAUL GIAMMARCO. "I am encouraging all Rhode Islanders to call in and show their support and gratitude to those who put their lives on the line to support freedom and democracy."
