CITADEL Country WIWF (96.9 THE WOLF)/CHARLESTON unveiled its new air staff this morning (11/8). In mid-OCTOBER CITADEL flipped AC WSUY to Country and kicked off the format with 5,000 songs in a row. The "WOLF WAKE UP SHOW," from 5:30-10a, features JANET WALSH, STEVE WATERS, CHARLIE "BYRD" LINDSEY and ROWDY NITES. WALSH is formerly of crosstown competitor WEZL and also worked at WXTC/AUGUSTA. WATERS also worked in the market at Top 40 WSSX, LINDSEY was the PD at WEZL for 20 years and ROWDY NITES is a COLORADO native who was doing nights at sister station WNKT.
The rest of the air staff rounds out with WNKT overnighter JESSICA CHANDLER handling middays, DRIVER on afternoons and WHITNEY ALLEN's DIAL GLOBAL syndicated show for evenings. Market veteran GREG PITT will handle overnights. Contact PD BRIAN DRIVER at brian.driver@citcomm.com.
