Jeff Katz Honored By Marine Corps League

LINCOLN FINANCIAL (and soon to be GREATER MEDIA) News/Talk WBT AM-FM afternoon-drive host JEFF KATZ was honored by the UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS LEAGUE on MONDAY, NOV. 12th. On the Veterans' Day holiday, JEFF broadcast from the CHARLOTTE Veterans' Center and wound up his pre-holiday efforts for his "Dear Marine" campaign. "There are 800 Marines in the 3rd Battalion/2nd Marines and thanks to the wonderful Charlotte community, each of these heroes will receive a number of letters and cards from home, as well as some much needed supplies," said Jeff.

In response, the MARINE CORPS LEAGUE inducted JEFF into their organization."I am hum bled by their bravery, flattered by their thanks and honored by their gracious inclusion of me in such a prestigious organization," KATZ said. "The membership is not deserved, but it is much appreciated. Semper Fi."
