Entravision Buys WNUE/Orlando For $24 Million

ENTRAVISION COMMUNICATIONS has entered into an agreement to acquire Spanish-language radio station WNUE/ORLANDO from MEGA COMMUNICATIONS for an aggregate purchase price of approximately $24 million. ENTRAVISION will begin operating the station on DECEMBER 1st, 2007 pursuant to a LMA between ENTRAVISION and MEGA COMMUNICATIONS.

"We are very excited about further strengthening our ORLANDO cluster and increasing our leadership position in this fast growing market," said ENTRAVISION Chairman/CEO WALTER F. ULLOA. "Given our existing media operations in ORLANDO, we are confident that we can operate WNUE more cost efficiently, while maximizing cross-promotion opportunities for advertisers."
