New Calls For KSMA

Talk KSMA-A/SAN LUIS OBISPO, recently sold by CLEAR CHANNEL to PIONEER/EL DOPRADO BROADCASTERS, has changed its calls after 60 years to KSMX, the result of CLEAR CHANNEL retaining rights to the calls. PD NICK DANGER tells ALL ACCESS that "listeners can expect the same format, same shows, just a new name and new owners" for "RADIO 1240 KSMX." 

In addition, cluster Production Dir. DAVE "BIG DOG" COCKRELL has exited with the change in ownership.
