Buckley/Connecticut GM Mulligan To Retire

BUCKLEY RADIO/CONNECTICUT VP/GM WAYNE MULLIGAN has announced his retirement effective at the end of the year. MULLIGAN joined WDRC-A-F/HARTFORD as an engineer in 1964, moved to WTIC-A/HARTFORD as a studio engineer in 1966, and returned to WDRC as Chief Engineer in 1972, climbing to Station Mgr. in 1989 and GM in 1991. GSM ERIC FAHNOE will take over the VP/GM role for BUCKLEY's CONNECTICUT stations.
BUCKLEY RADIO President/CEO RICK BUCKLEY said, "WAYNE has been a great friend and an enduring asset to BUCKLEY RADIO. We hope that he and his family will enjoy their retirement years."
MULLIGAN added, "I have been able to be involved in serving the people of CONNECTICUT because RICK BUCKLEY and his father before him have instilled the sense of service in all who work in this company. It has been my distinct pleasure to be able to lead the five great radio stations which RICK owns in CONNECTICUT."
