CRTC Nixes Proposed Timmins, ON Religion FM

The CRTC has denied the application of ERNEST TURCOTTE EVANGELISTIC ASSOCIATION for a new low-power Religion FM in TIMMINS, ON. The applicant proposed a 50 watt station at 100.7 FM, but the CRTC ruled that the plans for "balanced religious programming" were "broad and unclear" and that the market is already served by another religious station.
