Clifton, Mack Buy KAZZ/Spokane

FIRST BROADCASTING is selling Jazz KAZZ (OASIS 107.1)/DEER PARK-SPOKANE (with a booster in SPOKANE proper) to JERRY CLIFTON and GREG MACK's PROACTIVE COMMUNICATIONS for $1.75 million. PROACTIVE already owns KMJY (MAGIC 104.5) in the market.

In other PROACTIVE news, former DMX MUSIC MD MARK "IN THE DARK" SHANDS has been named Operations Dir. at KAZZ and KMJY. In addition to serving as Operations Dir. for the stations, SHANDS will also fill the PD role at KMJY.
