He cut a deal for the ST. LOUIS CARDINALS to buy KTRS-A/ST. LOUIS, and now former TAFT BROADCASTING and JACOR executive BOB LAWRENCE may be doing the same for the CINCINNATI REDS. The CINCINNATI BUSINESS COURIER is reporting that LAWRENCE, on behalf of friend and soon-to-be-controlling owner of the REDS ROBERT CASTELLINI, may join the REDS' investment group and would help revamp the station's broadcasting and marketing approach. The REDS have aired on WLW-A/CINCINNATI since 1969.
