The stunting is over and CLEAR CHANNEL's COLUMBUS move-in WMRN-F has debuted its "real" format, which turns out to be Alternative with an adult lean. The station flipped at noon THURSDAY from its TV theme song stunting to "RADIO 106.7," using a deep playlist to target Adults 25-44. Dir,. of Programming JOHN CRENSHAW is overseeing the station, which is launching without jocks or commercials and will add jocks after the first of the year and will air a maximum of eight minutes of commercials per hour.
The station moved in from MARION, OH, where it ran a Country format as "BUCKEYE COUNTRY 107," now heard on WDIF. News of today's format flip first appeared at OHIO MEDIA WATCH.
