NRG MEDIA makes it official and removes the "interim" from Interim GM RHONDA GERRARD's title at its OMAHA cluster. GERRARD, Director of Sales for the cluster since 2004, has been serving as Interim GM since the departure of JIM MCKERNAN. She reports directly to COO CHUCK DUCOTY.
NRG CEO/Pres. MARY QUASS said, "RHONDA's performance with the company has been exemplary and we know her talents will make a measurable difference in all departments, not just sales."
GERRARD added, "The NRG cluster is committed to delivering quality programming and unsurpassed customer service to our listeners and our clients. We will continue to work diligently to provide both audiences with results, providing quality entertainment and results-oriented advertising partnerships."
DUCOTY said, "RHONDA has done an outstanding job building and leading a dynamic sales team in OMAHA that has consistently outperformed the overall radio market in revenue growth. I am confident that RHONDA will bring the same enthusiasm, strategic planning and dynamic leadership skills to the GM position and will lead these radio stations to even greater achievements."
NRG operates seven stations in the OMAHA market, including Hot AC KQKQ (Q98), AC KLTQ (LITE ROCK 101.9), Urban KOPW (POWER 106.9), Talk KKAR-A, RADIO DISNEY affiliate KOIL-A, Sports KOZN-A (1620 THE ZONE), and Spanish Adult Hits KYDZ-A (LA PRECIOSA).
