Phillips Exits 55KRC

CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WKRC-A/CINCINNATI morning co-host JOHN PHILLIPS has exited the station as part of the cluster's budget cuts. 

PHILLIPS started at WKRC as a traffic reporter in 1975, later moving over to sister Talk WLW-A for a long run as helicopter traffic reporter and then back again last year to join BRIAN THOMAS as the morning replacement for BRIAN's father, JERRY THOMAS. BRIAN THOMAS continues solo in mornings at 55KRC.
